Maverick Adventures- Flandrau Hiking Program

We will meet at the Otto Rec entrance. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign a liability waiver. We will leave around 9:00 a.m., or soon after, heading to Flandrau State Park in New Ulm, MN.
Join Maverick Adventures for a hike at Flandrau State Park in New Ulm, MN. This event is limited to the first 12 participants.
This trip is only open to current MNSU Students, as we work to expand our programming options into the Outdoor Recreation realm. We are doing pilot programming with only MNSU Students, however we hope to have similar offerings in the future for students as well as community members.

2019 Whipper Snapper Spring Climbing Competion - Competitor Registration

The 2019 Whipper Snapper Spring Climbing Competition is being held in the Myers Field House of Minnesota State University, Mankato. Parking for the event is available in Lot 7 and Lot 8 (Free parking on Sunday) adjacent to the Myers Field House, nearest to the climbing wall. Join us for the 2019 Whipper Snapper Climbing Competition hosted by Minnesota Sate University, Mankato!  The Whipper Snapper will consist of both top rope and lead climbing (there will be NO Bouldering or Speed Climbing as part of this event). Due to the large number of people projected, the competition will be broken into two sessions. The first session will be beginner and intermediate categories and the second session will be advanced and open divisions (see schedule on the Event Website www.mnsu.edu/campusrec/events/whippersnapper/ for more details). This will be a modified redpoint format competition with finals in the top two divisions. There will be raffle prizes from sponsors and competition awards for the top three climbers in each category.
