Campus Recreation - Memberships

Group Fitness Classes ONLY Membership (faculty, staff, alumi, emeriti, spouses of the afore mentioned, spouses of students, and donors)

Cost for faculty, staff, alumi, emeriti, spouses of the afore mentioned, spouses of students, and donors: $25 (per semester)

Fee includes your attendance to all group fitness classes on the Campus Recreation schedule for the semester you purchase the membership. 
Summer Session (10 weeks): $25

This does NOT include a membership the Otto Recreation Center, Highland Center Pool, other Campus Recreation facilities or programs.  This membership is only for attending group fitness classes on the Campus Recreation schedule.  If you wish to purchase an Otto Recreation Center & Group Fitness Classes Membership see below for info and pricing.
Once we receive verification of your payment for the Group Fitness Classes ONLY Membership we will contact you by email during regular business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) to confirm your payment.  Your name will be added to a list in both PH 102 and HN 225 rooms as a Group Fitness Classes ONLY Member; but, please allow 1-2 business days for name to be added to the list.

Otto Recreation Center & Group Fitness Membership (faculty, staff, alumi, emeriti, spouses of the afore mentioned, spouses of students, and donors)

Faculty, staff, alumi, emeriti, spouses of the afore mentioned, spouses of students, and donors are eligible to purchase an Otto Recreation Center & Group Fitness Membership, which includes access to the Highland Center Pool.  You may purchase a membership by semester or annually.
$100 Per Semester (Fall or Spring)
$50 Summer Only
$200 Annually (Membership is valid for one calendar year from date of purchase)
*Mid-semester/summer we offer 1/2 price (pro-rated) memberships
Once we receive verification of your payment for the Otto Recreation Center & Group Fitness Membership we may contact you by email during regular business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) if we need more information.  But, please allow 1-2 business days for membership to be activated if you have a MSU Tech ID.

Otto Recreation Center Locker Rental

Current students and Otto Rec members are able to rent lockers in the Otto Rec Center.
$20 Per Semester (Fall or Spring or Summer)
$40 for Two Semesters (remainder of current semester and next semester)
$50 for Three Semesters (remainder of current semester and next two semesters)
Campus Recreation provides the combination lock.  There is a $10 charge for lost locks.  There is no towel service.

Please bring your receipt to the Main Campus Recreation Office, Myers Field House (MF) 118 to be assigned your locker during regular business hours, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Located on the beautiful campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato, Maverick Swim Camps are designed to enhance athletes conditioning, swimming technique, and overall performance. Camp highlights include 2 swim practices each day, daily stroke work, video analysis of the 4 competitive strokes, outdoor day/evening activities, new on-campus dining hall opened in 2017, and so much more.

  • We will have two heats of up to 10 participants in each heat.
  • Heat one will begin at 9am on the Woodway treadmills and complete 20 minutes. 
  • Heat one will transition to the Lifefitness bicycles, by about 9:25am. 
  • Heat two will begin on the treadmills by about 9:30am.

Cost for an Individual:  $62.50 or $83.34

*The team fee for Fall Boot Camp is $250; if you are an individual that has confirmation of being matched up with a team of four individuals than your fee is $62.50; if you have been matched up with a team of three individuals than your fee is $83.34.

Fall Boot Camp is offered only fall semester.  Includes:  8 Weeks of Training (16 team personal training sessions) and Pre and Post Fitness Assessments.

This is the perfect fair for employers who have jobs; both seasonal and permanent, internships, and practicum experiences; that they are looking to fill. Our students start thinking of summer jobs as soon as the New Year is over, and coming in February to our campus to connect with them is the ideal time! Whether you are a public, private or commercial organization or an agency or camp with summer positions, you can be a part of this day and have the opportunity to interact with 15,000+ students from MSU.

The Southern Minnesota Regional Science & Engineering Fair - Middle School/Senior High School takes place in the Centennial Student Union in the ballroom. Rooms in the Centennial Student Union will be used for the oral presentation of research papers of the finalists. FAIR DATE IS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2017.

2017 Southern Minnesota Regional Science & Engineering Fair - Middle School/Senior High School T-SHIRT PRE-ORDER

Saturday, February 18, 2017  7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Pre-ordered t-shirts may be picked up by the recipient or the designated educator at the help desk located near the ballroom on the second level of the Centennial Student Union, Minnesota State University, Mankato, on fair day, February 18, 2017.

The 2017 Southern Minnesota Regional Science & Engineering Fair t-shirt has a large imprint of the new word mark on the front of the t-shirt. The back of the t-shirt will have the names of each fair participant who registers on time. The t-shirt is tie-dye and heavy-weight 100% preshrunk cotton t-shirt. T-shirt cost is $15 per t-shirt if pre-ordered by deadline of Wednesday, January 20, 2017. Pre-ordered t-shirts will be available for pickup day of fair at the help desk by the recipient or the designated educator. Limited quantities of t-shirts will be available for purchase the day of the fair at a cost of $20.

Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values (AFLV) Conference-Greek Life

Tuesday, February 7, 2017  
Indianapolis, IN
The Association of Fraternal Leadership and Values Conference is a great opportunity for chapter and council leaders to gain valuable leadership skills and to network with fraternity and sorority leaders from all over the country. We will depart by bus from Mankato very early on the morning of February 9, 2017, and we will return late in the evening of February 12. The out-of-pocket expense for each attendee is $400. Incoming IFC or PHC council officers have subsidies available to them to cover at least half of that. The cost covers registration, transportation, hotel, and lunches/dinners while at the conference. Students will be responsible for breakfast/lunch while traveling to the conference and lunch/dinner while traveling back from the conference. Payment deadlines are as follows: $200 due November 22, 2016 $100 due December 9, 2016 $100 due January 9, 2017
