Davina and the Vagabonds are known for their hard-working professionalism, high-energy stage performance, and original sound. Two things remain consistent in all her shows: her throaty, but cushiony voice, part Bonnie Raitt, part Etta James and a little Amy Winehouse, and her band's rollicking New Orleans flavor, driven home by dueling horn players and a bayou thick standup bass.

Each year the Recreation Majors’ Club, with the support of the Department of Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services, hosts a summer job fair. This is the perfect fair for employers who have jobs; both seasonal and permanent, internships, and practicum experiences; that they are looking to fill. Our students start thinking of summer jobs as soon as the New Year is over, and coming in February to our campus to connect with them is the ideal time! Whether you are a public, private or commercial organization or an agency or camp with summer positions, you can be a part of this day and have the opportunity to interact with 15,000+ students from MSU.
