Indoor Duathlon

This event is limited to 20 participants.
We accept registrations the day of, to be paid by check or cash only - if we have not met the 20 participants limit.

You may park in Gold Lot 6, which is located in front of the Otto Recreation Center.  Parking Map

Who Can Participate?  Minnesota State University, Mankato students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members
How does the event work?
  • We will have two heats of up to 10 participants in each heat.
  • Heat one will begin at 9am on the Woodway treadmills and complete 20 minutes. 
  • Heat one will transition to the Lifefitness bicycles, by about 9:25am. 
  • Heat two will begin on the treadmills by about 9:30am.

Tread and Shred (Team Registration)

Monday, March 20, 2017  

Cost:  $150 total per team ($37.50 per person)

If you do not have a team of four people the cost is still $150.  You must have at least three people to register and participate.  If you have three people the cost is $50.00 per person.

All team members must be current members of the Otto Recreation Center.  Membership invoices are available in Otto Rec Center, the Main Campus Rec Office (MF 118), and online.

Tread and Shred will run from March 20th - April 14th, 2017.

Sprint Triathlon (Individual Registration, $25)

Register by April 12, 2017 to be guaranteed a shirt.
This event is limited to 80 participants.
Online registration accepted until April 27, 2017. 
We accept registrations the day of, to be paid by check or cash only.

Fall Boot Camp (Individual Registration)

Monday, September 25, 2017  

Cost for an Individual:  $62.50 or $83.34

*The team fee for Fall Boot Camp is $250; if you are an individual that has confirmation of being matched up with a team of four individuals than your fee is $62.50; if you have been matched up with a team of three individuals than your fee is $83.34.

Fall Boot Camp is offered only fall semester.  Includes:  8 Weeks of Training (16 team personal training sessions) and Pre and Post Fitness Assessments.

All team members must be current members of the Otto Recreation Center.  Membership invoices are available in Otto Rec Center, the Main Campus Rec Office (MF 118), and online.

Fall Boot Camp (Team Registration)

Cost:  $250 total per team ($62.50 per person)

Exercise Plan (Current Students)

Cost for Current Students:  $20
Once we receive verification of your payment for the Exercise Plan and Fitness Assessment we will contact you by email during regular business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) to set up a time for your fitness assessment and time to discuss your goals for your exercise plan.

Cost for faculty, staff, alumi, emeriti, spouses of the afore mentioned, spouses of students, and donors:  $30
Once we receive verification of your payment for the Exercise Plan and Fitness Assessment we will contact you by email during regular business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) to set up a time for your fitness assessment and time to discuss your goals for your exercise plan.

Fitness Assessment (Current Students)

Cost for Current Students:  $20
Once we receive verification of your payment for the Fitness Assessment we will contact you by email during regular business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) to set up a time for your fitness assessment.

Personal Training Packages (Current Students)

  • 3 Sessions: $50
  • 5 Sessions: $75
  • 10 Sessions: $125
  • 20 Sessions: $200
You must also purchase and complete a Fitness Assessment (Cost: $20) before you begin any personal training.

Everyone in your group must also pay for and complete a Fitness Assessment before the first session of SGPT.
