Cheer Prep Clinic

Saturday, April 20, 2024 9 a.m. - Noon

Join us for our College Prep Clinic March 26 in Myers Field House

Join us for a morning of learning material beneficial to trying out for the Maverick Cheer Team! Open to grades 9 and up, this clinic will focus on learning our rouser, a chant and stunting. We will also touch on how we do jumps and tumbling. Waivers must be completed for all attendees. Those under 18 must come either with a signed waiver or parent present to sign.

Baseball Alumni Game - vs. Augustana (April 27)

Minnesota State Baseball Alumni are invited to join us for our annual Alumni Game on Saturday, April 27 against Augustana. Alumni will receive free admission to the game!

Maverick Cheer Tryouts

Monday, April 29, 2024 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Schellberg Gym

Tryout to become a member of the Maverick Cheer Team! Please follow us on socials for more information regarding tryouts or email Coach Bridgette at Bridgette.altmann@gmail.com.

Tryouts will consist of:

Showing the rouser (prepare ahead of time)
Learn and perform Chant
Show Jumps and Tumbling (tumbling not required)
Show stunting abilities

Those who are unable to attend can email coach Bridgette about a video tryout.

Have a special birthday or anniversary you are celebrating? You can have your greeting shared on the video board at our men's & women's hockey, men's & women's basketball, volleyball or wrestling games!

All submissions are due by noon on Wednesday for men's & women's basketball, volleyball and wrestling and by noon on Thursday prior to the game for men's & women's hockey. If you'd like include a photo, please email that photo to scott.nelsen@mnsu.edu
